BOSS TWEED AND THE DEMOCRAT PARTY OF TODAY: The similarities are remarkable. Substitute public, city, state and federal unions for Boss Tweed's Tammany Hall and we have the perfect storm leading to uncontrollable debt to finance all the sweetheart deals. This will come to a similar end.
