Actually, I think the foundation for this mess can be traced back to Woodrow Wilson, who has been described as "America's First Fascist President". During WWI he crated a huge tyrannous bureaucratic apparatus, and even when the war ended, he maintained this tyranny, or I should say his wife did.
That unconstitutional mess didn't get broken up until Harding became President, and Coolidge continued to bring it under control after Harding died. The worst thing that happened to America in the 20th century is Coolidge, who hated being President, chose not to run for his legitimate second term in 1928. Had he done so we would have missed the Great Depression, the New Deal, etc. If had he run, he would have been elected.
FDR's "New Deal", wasn't new and it wasn't a deal. It was Wilson’s fascist operation with a new name, but many of the same players who worked for Wilson became prominent in the New Deal.
All those bureaucracies created by FDR were filled with communist agents, socialists, fellow travelers, and nothing has changed except the faces. While the current crop of bureaucrats may not be working for Stalin, that doesn’t change the fact they are the philosophical progenitors of the original traitors.
The FDR administration has been referred to as the most infiltrated government in world history, all with the goal of destroying the America culture, the American character, the America economy, and destroying the Constitution, which both Wilson, and Teddy Roosevelt, believed was an impediment to human progress.
Nothing has changed.
