WHERE WE ARE WITH THE ONE: Should have been broached pre-election. It's approaching closure time with B. Obama, "only" 3 and 1/2 years to go, and the fundamental legitimacy of his persona and qualifications to be POTUS has never been properly aired. Thank you to two of adolescents' least endearing traits: naiveté and gullibility. The Democrat Party and its MSM public relations arm are responsible for this presidency, one that will both diminish the office of the presidency and our nation in equal measure. Even a cursory knowledge of the Obama candidacy should have told the naive and gullible that this individual had neither the leadership experience nor the character to hold down the world's most important political position. What is shocking to many of us is the willingness of a majority of the voters to be fooled twice. That Obama could be reelected after his disastrous first term in office defies explanation. We can be grateful that we still have a Democracy in this country and especially grateful that the Republicans have managed to control the House since the middle of Obama's first term. That fact, while it did not come soon enough to spare us Obamacare, has no doubt spared us all manner of other socialist foolishness that Obama and his crowd have in mind for the transformation of our economy, government and way of life. It is necessary to remain alert to the danger to this country represented by Obama and his fellow liberals. Hitler was, after all, democratically elected to the Reichstag (German Republic's parliament) and then appointed Chancellor (Prime Minister) by president Paul von Hindenburg. Upon taking the oath of office, Hitler swore the following, "I will employ my strength for the welfare of the German people, protect the Constitution and laws of the German people, conscientiously discharge the duties imposed on me, and conduct my affairs of office impartially and with justice to everyone." With the passage of the EnablingAct in 1933, Hitler became a dictator, the German Republic was relegated to the dustbin of history, and the WWII became inevitable along with the death of over 50,000,000 souls. While Obama has moved in the direction of a dictatorship with his ignoring certain laws, changing laws willy-nilly, his appointment of over 20 "czars" to help him circumvent the bureaucracy, his use of the IRS to harass opponents, his takeover of private property (government ownership of GM), and so forth, because he hasn't had the control of the House of Representatives, he has been unable to ram through all the destructive plans and programs he's had in mind that would essentially lead to one party system and eventual dictatorship. We can be grateful that his leadership failures have not resulted in this outcome, which, it is clear he would prefer. From a speech he made on the stump in 2008: " We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded."

TWO COMMENTARIES ON THE PRESIDENT'S RECORD: This one is about promises made and kept and This one about historic partisanship among presidents These two columns from two of the more reliable and experienced reporters on the scene sums up the failed presidency of Barak Obama. It will indeed be a struggle for both Obama and the country to weather the next 3 and 1/2 years since it's apparent he will not change his policies and the Republican policies are the only ones that ever work, witness the results of tax cuts under Democrat President Kennedy and Republican Reagan. In both cases the economy performed very well, incomes rose and unemployment plunged, proving that the less government drag on the economy the better it performs. Why this is so hard for the likes of Obama and his ilk to understand this bit of history and logic is truly unfathomable.

THE CLINTON MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD CONNECTION:How does this happen in the higher reaches of American politics? You start with the fact that McCarthy is a credible source for this information and probably one of the few Americans who knows who all the players are and how to connect all the dots. One would think there's an FBI dossier on Huma Abedin somewhere and that it was made available to Hil and the Clintons along the way. After all these people ARE connoted to 9/11.
THE DEMISE OF THE UNIVERSITY IN A NUTSHELL: A wise man speaks the truth It's hard to argue with Thomas Sowell's common sense on most subjects. In this case the ramifications have led us to the sorry state we now have with a rootless grifter in the WH leading a know-nothing gang of narcissists bent on something or the other.
MORE ON THE VALUE OF THE COLLEGE EXPERIENCE:The medieval university model no longer works An elite college tuition in the 1950's, including room and board, was $2,000 per year. 60 years later it's over $50,000 per year. A family car cost $2,000 in the '50's and $30,000 now. The $30,000 car today is safer, and more reliable than the $2,000 one. Is the college diploma today of more value than the one 60 years ago? Not a chance. Conclusion: The college experience is worth no more than it was 60 years ago (probably much less), and it's cost has far outstripped inflation, therefore in the absence of at least commensurate value we have a bubble which will surely burst at some point.
BRIEF LOOK AT A FEW RINOS AND LIB FRIENDS: These guys don't ever quit This is a brief look at a few "lifers" in Congress -- the kind that have successfully entrenched the system of special interest lobbying and all the rest that has led to where we are at this point in time. This is the leadership of the tax and spend crowd whose party affiliation is essentially meaningless. They are a clarion call to term limits and other reforms to stop the freight train from taking us all over the cliff. Good luck with that.

OVERCOMING ECONOMIC DOLDRUMS: Interesting temporary solutions, doesn't address root causes Scheme proposed by the authors here could provide a solution to excessive debt in the system if only it weren't for human nature. What hasn't been addressed in the article is the question: once we've bailed out the bad decisions made by EVERYONE it took to get us to this state, what happens next. Since we've now introduced moral hazard to consumers by bailing them out from their debt accumulation with little or no consequence. So, since they are humans and many humans are irresponsible, how long will it take them and the many others who comet realize they too will bewailed out if their bet goes bad to start making bad bets once again. Institutions and individuals must be held accountable for their bad decisions otherwise the system nevers purges itself of bad investments and judgements.
WHY WE DISTRUST ALL GOVERNMENT SPOKESPERSONS: Jay Carney provides the misinformation (lies),the press spreads it The media is meant to be the watchdog for all us poor slobs not on hand to ask the hard questions ourselves. Regrettably the media has become a handmaiden to power. Probably because they trust power to do the right thing (a big mistake) and because their access to stories, scoops and the like will be limited if they cross it with reporting and stories that do not advance its interests. That means we are on our own for assessing information spoon feuds by government officials. Caveat emptor.

THE IN-THE-TANK MSM: Who reads stuff produced by these clowns anyway?
NEW STANDARD FOR JUDGING CREDIBILITY: After discussion with a conservative friend this afternoon, I have developed a new standard by which to judge anyone's credibility on any subject. If a person voted for Obama once, he has now diminished his credibility with me by 50 percent. That means I now believe half of what they tell me is possibly correct most of the time. If they voted for Obama a second time, I no longer believe anything they tell me at any time on any subject. In short, I don't believe him on any subject, including his own particular area of so-called expertise. Example: if he's a cardiologist and he's my doctor, I do not trust his diagnosis in heart matters any more than say his views on economics, politics, or anything. In other words his judgement is simply valueless to me. Now he may remain a friend if I value his humor, etc., but I will not talk with him again on matters of substance because his views are now devalued 100 per cent.

Kevin Johnson Obama scandal
Kevin Johnson, an Obama supporter and former all-pro NBA star, is being touted here for the position of Commissioner of Baseball. Apart from the fact he's not a practicing lawyer, nor has he had any experience in politics nor as a CEO other than as Mayor of Sacramento, a cow town that happens to be the seat of the government of California and therefore is part-time home to venal politicians and lobbyists, Johnson hardly seems qualified to preside over an 8 billion dollar "industry". He does have clout with his corrupt buddies in the US DOJ and in the WH, at least as long as they are in power. Meanwhile he appears to have serious character issues from these links to his checkered past. There is one thing no one can take away from him: he was a heckuva point guard, truly one of the best all time. One more thing: When trying to link to many of the links provided in these following sites, almost all had been removed from the internet. Looks a lot like information cleansing to me.
