Insights into the Liberal Mindset

 This article reviews a new book The Conservative Foundations of the Liberal Order by Daniel Mahoney  that sounds like a major contribution to understanding the mess that now calls itself "progressive", formerly called itself "liberal", until they unilaterally decided the word liberal was no longer favorably considered by the public at large.  It's always been a mystery to me where these people come from and how they came to have the belief system or whatever it is that causes them to support the lefty dictators they do all over the world.  From the sounds of it this book may provide some of those answers.
