Unequal Income and Income Redistribution

Unequal income and income redistribution is the official mantra of the Democrat Party, it has always been so since the '30's and the New Deal of Roosevelt & co.  In 1995, in this article here, two members of the Powerline Blog team, John Hinderaker and Scott Johnson, went to the trouble of  deconstructing and dismantling the spurious reasoning and arguments of the Democrat Party on this subject.   It is well worth reading and understanding the points they made then because failure to do so leaves one at the mercy of the distortions of facts that lay at the root of the Democrat Party's harmful and debilitating political and economic philosophy.  What makes these times of  the hard left policies of the current administration so perilous is the constant drumbeat of support for them by the so-called mainstream media.  This article is a reasoned antidote to the virus of socialism as promoted by the Obama administration and their media allies.

Obamacare's cynical ploy

Powerlineblog, insightfully, as usual, highlights the incredibly cynical ploy by the leftards who created Obamacare in this piece here.  The logic of this post is irrefutable.  Clearly the writers of the plan meant to provide no enforcement for the so-called "mandate" requiring uninsured people to buy individual policies or face fines, etc., because none is found anywhere in the plan.  In other words should you, as an uninsured, refuse to buy the "mandated" policy, while technically in violation of the law, the law specifically states there will be no consequence for ignoring this provision.  Powerline explains why then law was written in this manner..
