Obama the Socialist -- revisited

This book written by Stanley Kurtz and discussed in this interview was published after the original post, Obama the socialist, appeared here.  It is crystal clear to anyone who cares that Obama is an unapologetic, committed socialist who ultimately wants the entire US economy to be in the hands of the government.  This is apparent to anyone who does not have blinders on.  The question is why has he consistently presented himself as a centrist and a non ideologue going back to campaign in '08 and even earlier.  Kurtz gives the answer to this question in this interview when he points out that were he to "confess" to being a socialist he simply could not be elected president of the US.  Therefore it is necessary that he be a stealth socialist candidate and then work his plan from within the powerful office of POTUS.

ADDED:  The hallmark of the Obama administration is the practice of "crony capitalism" which of course comes down to supporting those who support your view and plans.  "The Chicago Way", as this practice is called by some, is on display in this article from Investors Daily.
