Sharia -- what it is?

Andrew McCarty, the prosecutor in the Blind Sheik Case of the first bombing of the WTC, has written here a very clear exposition of the issues surrounding the position we now find ourselves in vis-a-vis the Islamic invasion of the West.  He uses as his platform to explain various issues, the speech Newt Gingrich gave recently before the AEI.  Sharia, Islam’s authoritarian legal and political system, is the issue and the question to be asked of every candidate running for office is: "where do you stand on sharia?"
