FURTHER EVIDENCE OF THE FUTILITY OF CENTRAL PLANNING:  There is no disputing that the financial meltdown of 2008 was the result of an attempt, largely by democrat politicians led by Clinton, to micromanage the credit system in the US in order to put more minorities and lower income people into homes.  There have been many books and articles written on this subject and the preponderance of them make the case that the government was behind the effort and bent all the rules of common sense to make its vision come true.  The document dump going on at the Clinton library here has provided more evidence of the folly of trying to make a preferred economic outcome through government planning.
