Quit trashing President Obama's accomplishments. He has done more than any other President before him. He has an impressive list of accomplishments:
First President to apply for college aid as a foreign student, then deny he was a foreigner.
First President to have a social security number from a state he has never lived in.
First President to preside over a cut to the cr

First President to violate the War Powers Act.
First President to be held in contempt of court for illegally obstructing oil drilling in the Gulf of Mexico.
First President to require all Americans to purchase a product from a third party.
First President to spend a trillion dollars on 'shovel-ready' jobs when there was no such thing as 'shovel-ready' jobs.
First President to abrogate bankruptcy law to turn over control of companies to his union supporters.
First President to by-pass Congress and implement the Dream Act through executive fiat.
First President to order a secret amnesty program that stopped the deportation of illegal immigrants across the U.S., including those with criminal convictions.
First President to demand a company hand-over $20 billion to one of his political appointees.
First President to tell a CEO of a major corporation (Chrysler) to resign.
First President to terminate America 's ability to put a man in space.
First President to cancel the National Day of Prayer and to say that America is no longer a Christian nation.
First President to have a law signed by an auto-pen without being present.
First President to arbitrarily declare an existing law unconstitutional and refuse to enforce it.
First President to threaten insurance companies if they publicly spoke-out on the reasons for their rate increases.
First President to tell a major manufacturing company in which state it is allowed to locate a factory.
First President to file lawsuits against the states he swore an oath to protect (AZ, WI, OH, IN).
First President to withdraw an existing coal permit that had been properly issued years ago.
First President to actively try to bankrupt an American industry (coal).
First President to fire an inspector general of Ameri-Corps for catching one of his friends in a corruption case.
First President to appoint 45 czars to replace elected officials in his office.
First President to surround himself with radical left wing anarchists.
First President to golf 73 separate times in his first two and a half years in office, 102 to date.
First President to hide his medical, educational and travel records.
First President to win a Nobel Peace Prize for doing NOTHING to earn it.
First President to go on multiple global apology tours and concurrent insult our friends tours.
First President to go on 17 lavish vacations, including date nights and Wednesday evening White House parties for his friends paid for by the taxpayer.
First President to have 22 personal servants (taxpayer funded) for his wife.
First President to keep a dog trainer on retainer for $102,000 a year at taxpayer expense.
First President to repeat the Holy Quran & tell us the early morning call of the Azan (Islamic call to worship) is the most beautiful sound on earth.
First President to tell the military men and women that they should pay for their own private insurance because they volunteered to go to war and knew the consequences. Then he was the first President to tell the members of the military that THEY were UNPATRIOTIC for balking at the last suggestion.
First President to side with a foreign nation over one of the American 50 states ( Mexico vs. Arizona ).

The last debate
The third and last debate is now history. Obama was in full attack mode and came off unpresidential and petulant. On the other hand Romney was decidedly laid back and actually came off the more presidential of the two. Weird. Overall the moderator, Bob Scheiffer, a CBS lifer liberal, was fair to both men. If one was counting the "blows" recorded by each, Obama "scored" more largely because he was on the attack. At the same time most of his points were scored on then usual distortions of Romney's positions, and on outright lies, something the deems are practiced at and willing to do. Since O has a record which is indefensible, all Romney had to do was beat on it like a drum, which is exactly what he did. The best put down of the evening belonged to Romney when the responded to one of O's attacks with the quip: "A personal attack on me is not a policy". This line resonated driving home the point that O has no policy prescriptions for the next four years other that implementing his unpopular and dreaded socialist Obamacare, and more green energy "investments" by the government which have not worked out well, to say the least. Overall it's hard to see how this blast debate will change much in terms of the momentum residing with Romney.

The post Obama America
Three weeks before the election it appears Romney has gained the momentum and Obama is starting to panic. It is time for some "hail Mary" disclosures and the like from the Obama campaign. Should Obama lose, and lose decisively as is possible based where we are now, it is timel to speculate on what could happen after the election. Who would be the winners and losers in a Romney administration. The biggest losers should be the MSM for its complicity in bringing us Obama in the first place and doing its best to keep us misinformed after he was elected. One has to feel for those who have depended exclusively on the MSM for their news over the years because they have been ill-served. Likely the MSM will shrink rapidly in influence after Obama's defeat for, among other reasons, the country will get back on track under a pro business administration, and jobs will begin to materialize. Clearly, and in the knick of time, the unions, especially the government employees unions, will take a big hit. Sweetheart retirement deals will be revisited and scaled down and collective bargaining rights will be challenged and hopefully rolled back. Right to work laws should be passed in many states in order for them to compete with states not burdened with closed shop laws. Teachers unions in particular should be reigned in or simply abolished in order to put in place education reforms necessary to keep American workers competitive in the global marketplace. Government jobs at all levels should be eliminated, probably as many as 1/3d to 1/2 of the current number and of course many of the programs should go the way of the dodo bird as well. In short, government must be scaled back in order to free up the private sector which is the only place productive, wealth generating jobs are created. The statist and collectivist members of Congress should take a big hit too, as their influence will wane in an economy that is expanding and creating jobs.
Crowley to the rescue
Candy Crowley, the obese so-called journalist from the left-wing CNN cable network, managed to put the MSM in the spotlight at the Romney-Obama debate October 16. By covering for Obama on the Lybian, Benghazi debacle, Crowley demonstrated how far the media is willing to go to ensure Obama's reelection. In a nutshell they will go to any lengths necessary. In the debate Romney had Obama dead-to-rights on the dis and misinformation put out by the WH and the entire administration for two weeks after the attack, Crowley covered for Obama by claiming he was right in asserting he pronounced the Benghazi attack an act of terrorism on the day after, and by simultaneously changing the subject to another topic for debate saved Obama from the embarrassment of trying to explain why it took him and his acolytes another 13 days to officially declare it an act of terrorism. Obviously it took this long because the administration was trying to create a different narrative than the one dictated by a terrorist attack. Obama's entire foreign policy initiative has been built on appeasing the Arab world by hard lining relations with Israel and coddling the Islamists. His campaign has fully vested in the message we have fostered the Arab Spring, ended two wars in the ME, and put Al Qaeda on the run after killing Bin Laden. Should the attack that cost the lives of four Americans actually be an act of Al Qaeda-inspired terrorism, obviously the campaign claims would be rendered a nullity. And so it took two weeks of spinning an alternative version of events, built around a bogus claim the act of terror in Benghazi was a reaction to a bogus video produced by a Coptic Christian residing in the US. This shameful attempt to mislead the American public in order to protect the Obama reelection campaign was aided and abetted by the "cover" provided by Candy Crowley in the debate and the rest of the MSM by their coverage of these events for the previous two weeks. Not the finest hour for the media in the US and a vivid example of the bias and corruption of the MSM

Everything costs something
Is there's an observer on the socio-political scene with more useful insights than Theodore Dalrymple? In this brief column he dissects the problem with socialism/communism/fascism with a real life experience he had some 20 years ago while visiting North Korea. It's inconceivable to us in the West that the kind of existence Dalrymple describes can be the case and yet we know it is throughout the Middle East, Africa, and the Far East. And yet one senses that a version of this existence is where the Obama forces would eventually take us. Freedom is a slippery slope and giving it up via Obamacare here, Cap and Trade there inevitably leads to dominance of the state and the enslavement of its populace who then become subjects. Something, anything for nothing has a compelling appeal to many who would do well to remember that there really are no free lunches and that everything costs something even if its free.

Clinton-Obama axis
This article from the New York Magazine pretty much lays out the venality of Democrat politicians. Here we have the specter of Bill Clinton and Barak Obama, who don't trust or like each other, finding ways to use one another to each's benefit. Truly, the deserve each other. Clinton was a disgracefully amoral and low brow President. He brought great disgrace to the WH and country with all his philandering and crass political machinations. What saved his reputation was the Peace Dividend from the end of the Cold War, and the Newt Gingrich led Contract with America. In the former case, the winding down of the Cold War eliminated the need for huge military budgets, and in the latter the huge mid-term win by Republicans prevented Clinton from enacting all the Progressive (Socialist) plans and programs democrats always want to put in place. Obama, as we know, was successful in ramming through several of his socialist programs (Obamacare at the top of the list) before the Tea Party revolution put the brakes on his ambitions. Now they appear to be teaming up to bring four more years of socialism to the country in order to serve their personal and political party's interest. Hopefully Romney can bring an end to nightmare or four more or even more of the destructive politics these prototypical democrat politicians bring to our nation. Enough isn surely enough.

Phony-in-chief
Thomas Sowell dispenses with Barak Obama, once in for all in this column.. Sowell is a well-known, highly respected economist/historian, author of over twenty scholarly books, who happens to be black. He was born in the Jim Crow South over 80 years ago, and left for New York (Harlem) as a teenager. He was introduced to the New York Public Library and began a learning journey that took him to several of the most prestigious universities in the country as both a student and tenured professor. Thomas Sowell knows whereof he speaks. He has been onto Barak Obama from the very beginning, much as many others, as an outright fraud who would do this country no good. He, and all the others who were never fooled, have been proven right over the last four years, much to the misfortune of our country. Last week's debate between Obama and Mitt Romney caused the scales to fall from the eyes of many former supporters of Obama who began to see him as the empty suit he is in fact. Obama and his enablers in the Congress and in the media have cost us four years of recovery time from the financial meltdown resulting from housing policies put in place by Carter, put on steroids by Clinton, and encouraged and enabled all along by the Black Congressional Caucus(BCC) which included Barak Obama among its members. Thanks to Obama all these wrong-headed enablers it will take this country much longer to dig out from the wreckage of all their failed policies than would be the case had they not pulled then wool over the eyes of 53% of the American voters in 2007. Should the incumbents win again next month, there's no telling what will happen to this country in the coming years, but whatever happens will not be pretty.

Revealing editorial from the NYTimes
Reading this editorial from the NYTimes, one realizes how far liberals have sunk into the world of make-believe, fantasy and the most virulently destructive philosophies of the 20th century. It is inconceivable that anyone could take seriously the arguments in this editorial that claim Romney is flip flopping, changing his basic positions on issues and/or lying. And yet the libs who run that paper make all these claims and only fault Obama for not taking Romney to task for all this dissembling. In truth everything Romney said rebutting the Obama campaign's serial distortions of the Romney/Ryan campaign positions is consistent with the platform put forth at the Republican Convention in Tampa last month. Smaller government, strong defense, lower taxes to stimulate economic growth, elimination of socialized healthcare and regulations that stymy business activity that creates jobs and opportunity for those willing to put forth the effort. But since none of these prescriptions for success involves controlling other people's lives that the liberal elites prefer, they are forced to resort to these mindless attacks on conservatives' lack of specificity in matters of policies of their agenda. Which is exactly the point. Liberals want 3,000 page bills that control every conceivable contingency concerning the delivery of healthcare services. They want regulations that control all aspects of businesses trying to serve consumer needs and wishes. They want total control over citizens' lives in order that their vision of the correct society can be achieved. In the end their proscriptions for society are the same as those of the National Socialism of the Germans, the Fascism of Mussolini, and the Marxist utopia of the USSR, and we all know how well those isms turned out. In short, Republicans want maximum freedom for the individual while Democrats want maximum control of each individual's life by the state.

Another lie
In his appearance before spanish language Univision today the President told another grand lie when he said that the Fast and Furious gun-walking scheme was a "field initiated program started under the previous administration." This is an out and out lie since the program started in October 2009, nine months AFTER Obama was inaugurated. Let's see in the coming days if any of the MSM will hold him accountable for this outright, blatant lie. If one looks for one reason why politicians are held in such disrupt, here it is. Like Clinton, Obama lies repeatedly and because he has the media covering his backside, there are never consequences.

The original fraud
Bill Clinton struts around the world making speeches and raking in millions for his efforts never saying or doing anything remotely helpful to anyone other than his own accountant. And yet he is the darling of all Democrats wowing them all at the recent party convention. Personal acquaintances and friends who have met Clinton have been charmed by his personality and erudition. In the country today he is probably the most popular ex-president alive and would probably be considered one of the all time great presidents by most historians.
In truth Clinton is a cad, a fraud, a phony, and probably one of the five worst presidents ever. What's more, he was elected on a fluke. Democrats love to nominate smooth talking professional politicians who have perfected the art of winning the vote of the millions of gullible people looking for a savior. In Clinton's case his background of serial mistreatment of women and questionable real estate machinations while Governor of Arkansas was covered up by his campaign staff and his wife, making him at least acceptable to middle America. He got his party's nomination because the Democrat Party poobahs would nominate Saddam Hussein if they thought he could win a general election. Clinton won the general because Ross Perot carved out 20% of mostly Republican votes from H.W. Bush enabling Clinton to eke out a victory with less than a majority. Mid term voters in his first term rejected his standard socialist policies -- Hillarycare, et al. -- causing him to pivot to the right by passing the welfare and balanced budget reforms of Newt Gingrich's "Contract with America" and the Republican House of Representatives. This opportunistic move in turn saved his presidency and assured him a second term. In foreign affairs Clinton benefited from the Reagan-Bush ending of the Cold War and collapse of the Soviet Union. He did, however, managed to make a major contribution to the tragedy of 9/11 by failing to take out Bin Laden when he had a golden opportunity to out of concern for the "collateral damage" of some of the people in Osama's proximity. A failure of will analogous to Neville Chamberlain failing to take out Hitler in 1939 for fear of hurting some of the "innocent" staff members in his proximity.
Perhaps Clinton's most devastating contribution to our present economic circumstances was his appointment and support for Andrew Cuomo as head of HUD. It was Clinton's policy of making home ownership affordable for lower income Americans that led inevitably to the housing boom and bust and implosion of the financial sector. Thomas Sowell, an historian and an economists, opines on this major Clinton policy mistake here. Books and books and books have been written about the cause of this implosion but in the end it comes down to the government policies that pressured banks to make home loans to families who could not afford the monthly payments. This whole sordid mess we find ourselves in now was caused by the Democrat Party's attempt to control and direct the private sector's allocation of resources. Bill Clinton's fingerprints are all over the tragedy of the 23 million unemployed in our country today and yet he is extolled by many as one of our greatest presidents. Sowell's column should be required reading for all Americans.

It seems only fair, then, to remind the American public that not only does Obama skip most of his daily intelligence briefings, but also that the Clinton administration bears some of the blame for allowing 9/11 to happen. The 9/11 commission identified several Clinton failures, including four missed chances to kill Osama bin Laden, and a failure to adopt “a more aggressive counterterrorism posture” after Al Qaeda’s initial attacks.
The Clinton administration sent a signal to Al Qaeda that terrorism would succeed in pushing the United States out of the Middle East when, in response to the embassy bombings in Kenya and Tanzania, the U.S. pulled back its diplomatic presence in the region. Clinton answered with an ineffectual cruise missile attack on Afghanistan and Sudan; Al Qaeda followed up with its deadly attack on the U.S.S. Cole in October 2000.
That is not the only failure of the Clinton administration that the media has chosen to forget. Clinton is campaigning against his own record of economic liberalization, telling delegates at the Democratic National Convention that Mitt Romney would “get rid of those pesky financial regulations” and recording an ad in which he attacks Republicans for wanting to “go back to deregulation. That’s what got us in trouble in the first place.”
So, effectively, Clinton is blaming himself for our economic “trouble.” And so he ought to--because he also re-authorized the Community Reinvestment Act, a law that pushed banks to offer housing loans to people who could not afford them, leading directly to the subprime mortgage crisis that nearly imploded the global financial system in 2008, and which helped kick off the recession that Obama’s statist policies has failed to undo.
President Obama complains a great deal about the “mess” he inherited from Bush, but Clinton also bequeathed his successor an economic muddle, and you didn’t hear Bush complaining much. In fact, Clinton’s last year in office was marked by the bursting of the dot-com bubble--an event from which the high-tech industry has never fully recovered, but which has been airbrushed out of the media’s rosy recollections of the Clinton era.
The reason Clinton presided over a long period of job creation, economic growth and budget surpluses was because he embraced the same free-market, small-government policies that Romney is running on today--and stood up to the labor unions and the far-left of the Democratic Party, where a young Obama chose to plant his flag. Just weeks ago, he was opposing Obama’s taxes and praising Romney’s “sterling” business career.
Suddenly, with his wife’s 2016 ambitions in mind, Clinton has changed his tune. In 2000, when Hillary first ran for office, Clinton was persona non grata to Al Gore’s presidential campaign. The stain of the Lewinsky scandal, and the subsequent impeachment, were simply too much for voters to bear. Over a decade later, Clinton is hailed as a savior by his party and the media. But we are still living with his legacy--and not the better parts.

Koch vs. Stern, Trumka, SEIO, and AFL-CIO
The entrepreneur liberals most like to malign, Charles Koch, provides a very clear exposition here of the effects of crony capitalism. Mr Koch's company is a hugh family owned, world wide conglomerate in the energy industry. His company and others like it are the engines of our economy's success. Mr. Obama should be inviting the likes of the Koch family members to visit the White House for lunch on a regular basis in order to pick their brains on how his policies are helping the economy. Instead he demonizes them, accuses them of damaging the environment, exploiting the workforce, greed, and on and on. Instead of inviting the Koch brothers, Obama invites Andrew Stern, and Richard Trumka, leading labor organizers in the country in order, presumably, to help him unionize more companies along the lines of the automobile industry. Lest we forget, the bulk of the blame for the failure of Detroit has been the result of excessive wages and work rules, both union driven. Four more years of Obama means four more years of the Stern/Trumka policies and four more years of economic stagnation. We're headed for a replay of the '30's when it took 11 years to get unemployment under 15%. This is patently unfair to younger generations. To create wealth and jobs we need a return to pure capitalism.

Replay of the 1930's?
Investors Business Daily provided one of the more insightful analyses of Obama's oration at the DNC Convention here. Any objective history of FDR's New Deal (and there are a few) credits all the deficit spending through the alphabet programs tried by New Dealers as abject failure. It's well to remember at this time that the Great Recession started with the stock market collapse of 1929 and really only ended after WWII, although some claim at the onset of that conflict. All of Hoover and FDR's interventionist programs (begun under Republican Hoover), served only to prolong the recovery making it in the end the longest in history by far. It is not surprising that Obama, who has no clue how wealth and jobs are created, is reduced to dredging up the failed policies of the Democrats of another era. Since Obama is at best a Keynesian, and since his sense of history is most likely the result of reading liberal historians like Harvard's Arthur Schlesinger and Yale's Paul Kennedy, how would he know how misguided those '30's economic nostrums were? If one likes the current economy and votes for Obama, expect a repeat of the '30's and a recession/depression that will last 10 years or more. Not much of a choice.

A critical election
Both the DNC and GOP conventions are history. After a few days (hours?) of post mortems the candidates will be hitting the campaign trail for the last sixty days of what seems an interminably long, painful process. Painful because of all the lies and distortions oneness to wade through to decide who has the best path forward for the country. It should be clear to just about everyone that Obama's policies over the past four years have not worked, in fact, cannot work. One would expect him to offer a different set of policies for the next four years. Surprisingly in his convention speech he chose instead to simply ask for more time for his policies to finish the job. Since most of his policies are have been tried in Europe and in outright socialist countries over and over and have always failed, it does seem a bit cheeky for him to ask the citizens for more time to prove he's right. However, since the welfare state policies and programs of the past 75 years have created a huge constituency of dependents, and given that the Democrat Party has more or less perfected the ability to promote and pander to these voters, he stands a pretty good chance of reelection. His election will take the country further along the road to socialism and the inevitable ruin that social order produces. Romney's election, on the other hand, providing he makes good on the reforms needed to get us back to a more honest, free enterprise capitalism, should provide the course correction desperately needed. Four more years of Obama and his crown should just about be the right amount of time to turn our economy into the basket case economies we now see in Europe. This is an important election.

Gangster government
Michael Barone has spoken out on the subject of "gangster" government many times since that description was first used by him at the beginning of the Obama administration. Here, here, and here are three such discussions by Barone. "Gangster" government is really simply a euphemism for statism or totalitarianism of the Mussolini/Hitler variety in which the the state controls all aspects of an economy without taking outright ownership of the means of production. It does this by edicts, by taxation, and of course increasingly complex regulations all of which inhibit and limit innovation and wealth creation. There's a reason why all socialist states, all fascist dictatorships have failed in the end. They can make the trains run on time for a while, but they cannot innovate and create the environment that produces the Bill Gates, and Steve Jobses who literally create brand new industries that end up creating businesses that create millions of high paying jobs. There are a number of reasons why the Obama gang should be run out of town this November, but at the top of the list of these reasons is their fundamental lack of understanding of how the free enterprise system, i.e. capitalism, works. Everyone would do well to remember that when Hoover and FDR began the federal central planning programs in the 1930's designed to put the government in control of the economy to prevent any future depressions, there was no real improvement in unemployment conditions for over 10 years. It took WWII to put people back to work. The message: the government does not create jobs, the government does not create wealth therefore the government does not create a growing, expanding, productive economy. The Obama people simply don't get this.
A sidebar to this gangster government discussion is the tiresome and largely false mantra of leftists columnists and pundits 24/7 that greedy Wall Street caused the 2007/8 sub-prime mortgage driven financial meltdown and that government must step in and take control of these vampires before they suck all of our collective blood dry. This is not a complicated nor difficult issue to resolve. A starting point is this article by Joe Pinto in the AEI Journal. There's plenty more written about this disaster in this blog in the past. One thing is clear. Wall Street played a part in the fiasco, however, that role was largely at the behest of the government at many levels. What needs reforming here is the liberal notion that a private dwelling and every other material consumer good should be considered a civil right.

Taqiya and the post partisan presidency
When it eventually becomes time to assess this miserably failed presidency, this Roanoke speech by Obama will likely be cited as what he meant by post partisanship and, for that matter, changing the culture of Washington, two of his most blatantly false claims made by him and his supporters in the '08 presidential campaign. Obama has easily been the single most divisive president since the Civil War unfairly caused that dubious distinction to fall to Abraham Lincoln. It is almost inconceivable how divisive and even destructive the incumbent president has been to civil comity and discourse in this country since he took office nearly 4 years ago. But when you think about it, this was all quite predictable and even inevitable. Obama is a product of Chicago machine politics, always the poster child for most corrupt city government in the country. In addition, many believe Obama is a closet Marxist-socialist politician who, like all fanatics of this ilk, believes the end justifies the means. Islamists also believe that lying, dissembling and otherwise deceiving non-believers in the promotion of "the true faith", is perfectly permissable. Muslims call this practice Taqiya.* Christians call it a sin. Even if Obama is not a Muslim, as some claim, practicing Chicago-style politics and his Marxist-socialist beliefs account for his serial lying since he first entered politics. Remember Saul Alinsky? The man simply has no qualms about telling untruths. What's more he knows his followers, both voters and enablers in the media, have no qualms in this regard either. Under these circumstances the only thing Christians and right thinking secularists can hope for is that enough of the electorate sees through this highly destructive and yes, evil behavior, and votes this man and his administration out of office. Otherwise this country continues down the path to becoming a banana Republic, say along the lines of Venezuela.

Protestantism's weak link
For many years now mainstream Protestant sects, e.g., Episcopal, Methodist, Presbyterian, Baptist, Lutheran, et al, have been losing communicants while Evangelical sects have been growing. There are no doubt many and complicated reasons for this development; however, at least one obvious explanation lies in thinking of the current Archbishop of Canterbury, Rowan Williams, who as the head of the Church of England putatively speaks as the religious voice of the state of England and its worldwide offshoot, the Episcopal Church. Williams embodies the secular and politically correct "social justice" philosophy reflected in the leftist politics of Barak Obama and his minions. Briefly this philosophy is anti the values embodied in the American Constitutional, anti the concept of American exceptionalism, anti-Western values in general, specifically Capitalism's embrace of the importance of self interest, private property rights, competition, and all the rest that goes with an economic system that has raised millions of people out of poverty over the last two hundred years. Communitarians like Williams and Obama want an economic system that produces equal outcomes and a society in which all group political and religious rights and values are accepted and respected equally. The only real difference between the Obama-Williams and communist philosophies is the acceptance of a role by religion by the former. Of course those religions must embrace the relativism and social justice values inherent in communism to be acceptable. Clearly the protestantism of shared values with Capitalism, to wit: the importance and significance of the individual person and the attendant values of hard work, self discipline, competitive spirit, individual good works, and the like, has given way in the Obama-Williams world to a group rights, non competitive cooperative feel good, equality above all else, Protestantism. Epstein on Obama
Richard Epstein, a Hoover Institute fellow, has it just about right in this essay on Obama's Osawatomie, Kansas, speech last week. The really scary aspect of Obama's presidency is his abject ignorance about job creation, the role of competition in free markets, and of course the role of government in its role as rule maker for free enterprise. Never experiencing first hand what happens in the real economy, Obama simply relies on the academic left's failed ideas largely derived from Marx and Engels and their followers. The fact that all of those ideas have been tried and found not to work doesn't bother socialists like Obama who are driven by a concept understood and known to true believer liberals as "social justice". "Social Justice" has been the driving force behind the Civil Rights movement since the 1965 Civil Rights Act was passed and has given us the victim and grievance industry of Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, et. al.
Why Conservatives hate CBS's 60 Minutes
Okay, CBS and all the other so-called MSM (Mainstream Media) are in the tank for the democrat party. This is not news, has been the case for ever and blossomed after Walter Cronkite decided in the late '60's that it was okay for news reporters, stations and the networks to take sides in "important" political issues of the day. Since that time the liberal bias of the media has flowered to the point we now see on display in this 60 Minutes interview of Obama by Steve Croft over the weekend. Conservatives have a hard time getting their message and the truth out when all these media outlets are this blatantly in the tank for the opposition. In this interview, Obama, who along with Joe Biden has been running all over the country blaming the Bush Administration for the financial meltdown of '08, is not asked by Croft to account for the fact the legislation enabling the deregulation of derivatives and the like to take place occurred during the Clinton Administration -- not the Bush Administration -- with the full support of the congressional democrats. So much for the veracity and truth seeking by these MSM reporters. Like all liberals (and Communists, and Muslims, by the way) outright lying and the omission of the truth in the promotion of a greater good is morally acceptable and even desirable. This point is usually overlooked when accounting for media bias, however it is the primary reason why no liberal is trustworthy. Some refer to this particular tactic as moral relativism, which is as good an explanation as any.
